The setting in of Christmas season has led to an unprecedented explosion of advertising of medicative substances online as male wellness topping business agenda. With exotic foods having pushed indigenous foods out African kitchens and industrially-manufactured medicines eclipsing traditional herbs, See Africa Today wants a return to the roots. Consequently, the publication lists 15 African foods that increase libido that are readily available at low cost.

It says, “If you’re struggling with low libido and planning a trip to Africa, don’t worry – you’re not alone. There is always a solution. There are a variety of African foods that increase libido. The internet is littered with stories about people in the same situation, with both men and women desperate for revitalisation. This situation hurts lifestyles if it’s not addressed.”

It goes on to say that marital bliss “can suffer drastically if either partner has low sex drive, so it’s essential to seek help as soon as possible once you notice the symptoms. If you want to increase your libido, add some African foods to your diet. When it comes to boosting libido, Africa has a non-medicative way to get it solved.

So, what plants help with libido?

Several African plants are traditionally used to increase libido. One of the most popular is muira puama, also known as “potency wood.” This plant is native of the Amazon rainforest but can also be found in Africa in the Congo basin.
