The US construction and steel engineering industries are gearing up for a new entrant, the US Doors Direct Corporation, which is expected to stir up fierce competition in a sector that still has an appetite for more players.

Until mid-September 2023, US Doors Direct Corporation operated was a virtual outfit, but now it has a physical presence in Saint Cloud, Florida. Having turned a corner, the founders of the construction company are now dreaming of conquering the roll up doors market in America.

Roll up doors have been found to be burglar-proof, hence their rising popularity and demand all over the world.

The timing of the launch of the construction firm is phenomenal: it happened at a time when the US economy has appeared to stutter on the back of a slowdown in the global economy as a result of, among other things, impact of climate change, stuttering Chinese economy and the Ukraine-Russian war.

Speaking to Tell on behalf of US Doors Direct Corporation from their headquarters in Florida, the construction company’s co-director Alycia M. Barnard said she and her husband Curtis Barnard took stock of trends in the United States’ and global economies before rolling out their business.

An interplay of factors in the United States of America (USA) and the wider world has at times seemed to conspire against new enterprises, especially the threats of possible economic recession in America. However, the fears have were allayed after reports showed the US economy was on the mend against after sluggish recovery from the debilitating impact of Covid-19 pandemic.

According to September 8, 2023, edition of the Financial Review, the US economy had created 13.5 million jobs a week to the launch of US Doors Direct Corporation on September 15. Some 800,000 of the jobs were in the manufacturing sector, which translates to consumer confidence and higher purchasing power, besides knock-on effect on the construction and engineering company.

The two investors, who live in Saint Cloud, Florida, said they are prepared to tango with the big boys in the industry that has been growing in leaps and bounds and given promising signs of booming worldwide.

In the countdown to the vote in Senate on the 2024 budget in July, there were jitters of the US economy hitting a plateau or sliding into recession. The jitters triggered hedging in the banking industry and financial sector, drying up liquidity in the economy. For now, the storm has been weathered and consequently given Alycia and Curtis Barnard the impetus and dynamism to roll out US Doors Direct Corporation.

The company opened its business to consumers on September 15, 2023, after three years in ‘gestation’ to firm up its business plan ahead of the roll out in Florida and eventual spreading out wings to the rest of the United States and world.

Speaking to Tell from their headquarters in Saint Cloud, Alycia said US Doors Direct Corporation is determined to live up to its billing as a “company of the future” that is poised to compete with best.

“US Doors Direct will debut in the top eight companies in the construction and engineering field domestically for roll up doors drop shipping,” explained Alycia, a renowned philanthropist.

The corporation will be selling trademarked steel roll up doors, first in Florida before expanding to the rest to USA and eventually Europe, Asia and Africa. What’s more, the construction firm has offered fit and fix the doors for free as a gesture of value addition to its services.

The company joins a sector that is attracting massive interest worldwide, with Market Research Intellect – a research firm – predicting robust growth between now and 2031.

US Doors Direct Corporation has already been given the greenlight to commence operations in Florida. Alycia Barnard confirmed readiness after receiving “the 2023, Construction & Engineering Award for Florida.”

This paves the way for the couple – Curtis and Alycia Barnard – to contribute to the US job market by creating hundreds of jobs in sales, marketing, advertisement, engineering and transport, among others.  This is happening against the backdrop of an economic outlook that has lately been bouncing between gloom and optimism – two years after it was battered first by coronavirus in 2021 and ongoing Ukraine-Russian war that began in 2022, then the rapidly shrinking Chinese economy.

As founder and chief executive of the construction company, Alycia says – half jokingly, “I enjoy being in charge and I know every aspect of my business, except installations. That’s (installations) my husband’s department. I love being an architect.”

Alycia is an architect, while Curtis is a steel engineer, which makes construction business a unique convergence of expertise and interest.

As the dust settles on the storm kicked up by Covid-19, the world adjusts to the distortions of the global economy generated by the war in Ukraine, the two US Doors Direct Corporation partners anticipate to leverage on the success they have already achieved via social media to drive up sales.

“This will create job growth for the couple who have worked tirelessly to achieve perfection. They anticipate to open their first (physical) office within one year. We have been built on social media. We are a social media company. This write up is extremely important for our business,” Alycia says.

She adds, “We plan to release (goods and services) in a few short years to the international market once we establish what we have to do. Franchising is also a potential possibility for us. But that is way in the future. I can only plan for this and see how we do and make adjustments to business and demand as necessary.”

The US Doors Direct Corporation’s plan falls within the thinking of industry players, with Market Research Intellect, saying, “In the coming years, the global (market for roll-up doors) is set to experience steady growth, driven by a combination of continuous technological advancements, growing environmental awareness and the rising need for streamlined operations. To seize the evolving market opportunities, industry players are anticipated to concentrate on product innovation, strategic collaborations and geographical expansion.”

The company has primarily operated in the Florida region and southeast of the country for 13 years. “Three years ago we decided to partner up and both bring our experience to the table and we created US Doors Direct Corporation formerly US Doors Direct LLC in Florida. We are BBB Certified (Better Business Bureau),” she explains.

With ever-changing technology and tastes, US Doors Direct Corporation is bracing for innovations that will assist businesses in leveraging their position in the market and diversifying their product range.

Market Research Intellect prescribes the strategy as “ an effective market report instrument for conquering certain business setbacks.”

“This sort of innovative market research provides useful data in a timely manner. It also conducts data-driven research studies to provide insights into elements of market growth. The bulk of the key insights will be based on in-depth information gleaned from primary and secondary data collection data,” the research firm says.
