According to Environmental Secretary Selly Kimosop, who spoke during the closing of the three-day workshop at a Machakos hotel, the environmental landscape today is quite different from what it was a decade ago and the technical workshop provided an opportunity to address gaps and needs assessment.
Kenya drafts law to address marine refuelling, safer, cleaner and transparent industry operations
EPRA Director-General Daniel Kiptoo Bargoria said that the draft regulations provide a structured framework to govern the refuelling of small and medium marine vessels and the transfer of bunker fuels to ships at sea and within port facilities.
