KIAMIS: Kenya embarks on farmer registration to facilitate access to subsidies
Kenya’s KIAMIS system had registered over 6.6 million farmers by July 2025, with a target of an additional 500,000 in the current August 2025 registration drive.

The farmers in the county have said that the new coffee DSS proposal would disadvantage farmers as well as their cooperative societies. Some of the issues raised are the farmers’ ability to access advance payment and affordable loans from their factories as well as farm inputs that are normally deducted from their pay-out.
