Kim Kardashian, was in attendance for Arsenal’s Europa League defeat and many fans have jokingly blamed her for losing to Sporting Lisbon. She is a bad omen, they say, and want her banned from future Arsenal matches.

A global superstar, thanks to her hit Keeping up With the Kardashians show, the influencer has been offered up as the perfect scapegoat. Posting a pre-match image of match programmes and a several bottles of Prime to her 348 million Instagram followers, the 42-year-old wrote ‘send help’.

Some Arsenal fans joked that the TV celebrity is a curse and the Gunners have become the latest victim of the famous family.

Kim Kardashian made shock appearance in North London on Thursday night and was in attendance for Arsenal’s Europa League clash with Sporting. She shared posts of the matchday programme and KSI and Logan Paul’s Prime drink. Kim, who is said to be filming a documentary in London, took son Saint along with her to the game.

Kim uploaded a video to her Instagram followers of her son Saint West in a Katie McCabe home shirt cheering on Bukayo Saka. However, it did not end well for Arsenal as they crashed out at the last-16 stage following a penalty shootout.

Gabriel Martinelli missed the crucial spot-kick after a 1-1 draw after extra-time.

But Logan Paul, co-founder of the energy drink that sponsors the Premier League side, noticed the post and joked on Twitter: “We made it.”

However, news of Kardashian’s apparent allegiance will come as a shock to Italian giants Roma who recently received a 2,400 per cent increase in Google search traffic after Kardashian was spotted in one of their retro kits.

In January, Kardashian’s son, Saint West, was spotted in an Arsenal third kit on his birthday, which comes as no surprise with the Premier League leaders attracting plenty of new fans. His mother and global celebrity is reportedly filming at the Emirates for part of a new documentary about her life.

Supporters took to Twitter to try and get Kim banned from returning to the ground after the exit, especially with the crucial Premier League title run-in hotting up. They even mentioned the so-called Kardashian curse, a reference to the numerous men to have struggled after dating the sisters.

One wrote: “Tell her to not ever come watch our game again.”

Another wrote: “The Kardashian curse strikes again. Ban her from the stadium!”

A third added: “Bad luck entered the Emirates Stadium.”

Another commented: “So this is all her fault.”

A fifth typed: “Kim Kardashian at Emirates and Arsenal loses! I’m afraid the curse is real.”

And a final user replied: “@Arsenal please lifetime ban Kim Kardashian from the Emirates.”

However, the Kardashian did not bring good luck with her from the States, as Arsenal crashed out of the tournament leaving fans to blame it on the “Kardashian curse”.

Many loyal Arsenal supporters have since taken to Twitter to blame Kim for the loss, with some even calling for her to be “banned” from returning to the grounds.

“But it’s not just men; it’s friends, it’s people who come and just don’t know how to handle it. It’s negative. There’s a lot of people who love us, but there’s also a huge handful of people who don’t like us.”
