Regional governments in Kenya push for enhanced role in trade development
The forum to gather views on the draft bill seeks to provide a comprehensive legal framework for the development, facilitation, promotion and regulation of both domestic and international trade and address key challenges such as fragmented regulations between national and county governments, duplication of licences and fees and barriers to the free movement of goods across counties.
