The wealthiest man on Earth was told he had 12 months left, then he made one choice that gave him 44 more years.

John D. Rockefeller had won. By 25, he owned one of America’s largest oil refineries. By 31, the world’s biggest. By 38, he controlled 90 per cent of all oil refined in the United States.
