Kenya is laying groundwork for digital infrastructure and investment hub in Africa, principal secretary says

Speaking in Nairobi on Tuesday during the fourth edition of the ITW Africa and DataCloud Africa Summit, Isaboke noted that Kenya’s ICT sector was growing at an average rate of about 10 per cent annually, while the digital economy expanded by about nine per cent and contributed approximately nine per cent of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) in 2025.
