Kenya to spend $35.5 million to improve security and resources conservation on Lake Victoria

To improve safety, the government is rolling-out a program to make life jackets more affordable. Currently costing between Ksh2,000 and Ksh3,000, the jackets remain out of reach for many fishermen.
